The Day Eggy Car Took Over My Afternoon (And My Patience)
Some days you just want a simple, relaxing game to kill a few minutes. You know, something cute, harmless, maybe even therapeutic. But instead, you open a game that steals your afternoon, tests your emotional limits, and somehow leaves you laughing through the frustration. That was me last week when I decided to “quickly try” Eggy Car.
Spoiler alert: there was nothing quick about it.
How It Started: A Five-Minute Break Gone Wrong
It was supposed to be a short break from work. I had coffee in hand, music playing softly, perfect lazy afternoon vibes. Then I clicked on Eggy Car, thinking, “This looks adorable. I’ll just try one round.”
Within five minutes, my coffee was ignored, my music became background noise, and I was laser-focused on keeping one extremely dramatic egg from rolling off a cartoon car.
The game pulled me in instantly. The physics, the wobbles, the ridiculous near-falls—everything felt so chaotic but fun. I didn’t realize it then, but I was about to spend the next hour emotionally bonding with an egg I constantly dropped.
